What did the original flower look like? Who are flowers beautiful for? How important is pollination of flowers for us humans? The large summer exhibition in the Botanical Garden provides answers to these fundamental questions. It is the central summer highlight of the Botanical Garden as part of the Flower Power Festivals.

The special exhibition in the winter hall of the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden also shows three large flower models using paper laminating technique by Alexandra Hendrikoff.

Inspired by an east-european ceiling-beam-cradle out of carpets Alexandra Hendrikoff (born 1965) created her "cradle for the world's soul" with cell-circle-lines painted on gauze.
Hanging high in the space of St. Mark Church the installation evokes faraway childhood days
- a sign of life, of being carried, development, change.

20.00, 23.00: looks like silence - soprano saxophone and live video projection of Christoph Reiserer (2012)
21.30: variations on silence - Michael Grill and Michael Rot, on the piano and organ, interpret music and lyrics by John Cage and Morton Feldman.
